ABOUT
WHO WE ARE
NREN is a grassroots national movement networked across hundreds of communities adversely impacted by the Australian government's reckless deployment of unreliable, costly, and environmentally damaging wind turbines, grid solar systems, pumped hydro projects, and high-voltage transmission lines. Our movement comprises concerned Australians, politicians, conservationists, and communities all devoted to safeguarding our country, coastline, oceans and rivers from the detrimental effects of this rushed and reckless industrialisation process.
WHAT WE DO
OUR STRATEGY
NREN:
-
Builds, empowers, & sustains a nationwide network across Australian to support communities & individuals being adversely impacted by the government's recklessly planned & rushed energy projects (and their proponents).
-
Advocates & protests against unreliable, unaffordable, environmentally destructive, wind, grid solar, batteries & High Voltage Transmission lines that are damaging & dividing communities, their homes, the environment, & the local & national economy.
-
Shares information & resources across the network to support advocacy, consultation, legal options & lawful protests.
-
Lobbies federal, state & local government for the provision of affordable & reliable energy that meets the everyday essential energy requirements of all Australians & businesses without the significant damage & cost that is currently occurring.
-
Lobbies federal, state & local governments for a rational energy policy that upholds Australia's national energy & security interests.
SUPPORT US
NREN is dedicated to promoting a national rational energy network for Australia. One that upholds our national energy security and is efficient, reliable, affordable, and environmentally sustainable.
We also work to raise awareness about the negative impacts of unreliable, unaffordable, & environmentally destructive "renewable" industrialisation & advocate for mitigation.
Our services include networking, events, organisation support, lobbying, education, and providing evidence based academic and/or legal resources. We work alongside concerned Aussies, local groups, environmentalists, conservationists, & communities, to build a strong national rational network of support to stop the reckless rollout of "renewables" & misinformation. We work to build a rational national energy network for Australia now & into the future.
